PA Child Community Outreach

PA Child Community Outreach PA Child Community Outreach (PACCO) was organized for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The corporation’s primary purpose is to help children and families in the community, specifically focusing on children in out-of-home placements, such as but not limited to foster care and juvenile probation.

Striving to Educate

PA Child Community Outreach strives to help educate on the needs of children in out-of-home placements, along with meeting the needs of the children, biological families, and the resource families that care for them. We collaborate with foster agencies, social workers, advocates, and other community partners to bring programs to any foster youth or families we serve. Our organization has allowed us to provide foster youth, families, and others with items such as but not limited to new bicycles, clothing, college supplies, and even transportation needs. We also have a suitcase program so that children do not have to experience the unacceptable situation of having their belongings in a trash bag.

Children in the system are many times traumatized just by the very fact that they are no longer with their families. Many times it can be so confusing and sometimes disheartening. PA Child Community Outreach strives to give foster children a brighter future, along with a sense of normalcy and belonging. We strive to be the support, encouragement, and inspiration that foster youth need so that they may have confidence about their future.
